Welcome to the Parkview Special Education page.  Listed below is our mission statement, curriculum information and teacher contact information.

The philosophy of our special education department is to offer a full range of services to meet academic, social and behavioral needs of adolescents that qualify for special needs.

The teaching staff is trained in learning styles, diagnosed medical and developmental disabilities, behavior management techniques as well as crisis prevention and intervention.

The special education team specializes in supporting the existing curriculum in grades 6-8 through an inclusive model. The teachers also provide extra instruction and support during the students' study skills time.
